Creating these visual images must have really gotten my creative juices flowing because I outlined this entire program at lightning speed afterward! I even created a flyer and set dates!

This program represents the culmination of several months of brainstorming on how to combine my passion for yoga and expertise in personal growth in order to best serve my clients. During this six week course we will practice yoga and meditation and dive into topics like stress reduction, nutrition & exercise, goal setting & time management, communication & relationships, and self-care.

The Living Wellness Lifestyle for Women will begin Thursday, May 20th. It will be held at Tree of Life Yoga Studio in Niagara Falls for six consecutive Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm. I am limiting the program to 10 participants so if you are interested, please contact me right away at 716-939-0892 or mscime710@roadrunner.com

I hope that you can join me on what is sure to be an inspiring and fun-filled journey!

Namaste,

Mindy

Hello from Rochester!

Hello Lovely Readers!

I hope you are all doing well! I am in Rochester for a four-day yoga training. It has been a wonderful experience so far - tons of information, fabulous like-minded people topped with yoga!

However, I have been remiss in my daily Joyful Abundance posts...

It's funny because each day I do pause and think of things to post about, but I haven't seemed to make it to the computer...

Here are a few of the wonderful things I have encountered over the past 5 days...

1. Kind strangers! While getting my oil changed the gentleman asked me to turn on my bright lights and I accidentally hit the washer fluid subsequently giving him a surprising squirt in the face! He simply laughed and wiped his face off - so sweet and understanding!

2. Three days of hot baths in an enormous jacuzzi tub courtesy of a kind friend who is letting me stay at his house.

3. YogaFit and all the fabulous people associated with this organization!

4. Tapping into the ability to breathe through anything

5. Finding forgiveness for others

6. This great quote (don't know the source) that someone said in training yesterday: "In my life nothing ever goes wrong." A great reminder that everything happens for a reason!

7. Hot coffee

8. Dove dark chocolate

9. TV detox

10. The opportunity to study the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita

11. Field greens and spinach

12. The "off" button on cellphones

13. Tulips blooming everywhere!

14. Deva Premal

15. GPS

If you read this blog regularly, you may recall that I have had "clean my closet" on the to-do list/ monthly goals since about December 2009... well one of the assignments for the Tranquilista e-course this week was to de-clutter and so I finally got around to that darn closet!

The Power of Permission

No matter how qualified or deserving we are, we will never reach a better life until we can imagine it for ourselves and allow ourselves to have it.
~ Richard Bach
I was doing some cleaning today and found my 2009 planner. I looked through it to see if there was anything I wanted/needed to keep before tossing it and I found this quote jotted down on one of the notes pages. I have no idea where I first came across it, but it resonates with me today as I'm sure it did then back in 2009.

Visualizing what we want is a key factor in moving forward, as is giving ourselves permission to have everything we have ever wanted. Sometimes we are held back by fear or guilt or old beliefs about whether or not we deserve to live our best life, but we must move beyond this in order to fully express our potential. We all deserve to be happy and live fulfilled lives!

What limiting beliefs are you holding on to? Can you let them go and give yourself permission to live the life you've always dreamed of?

It is never too late to move in the direction of our dreams! Visualize what you want in your life (maybe even put together a vision board - see pic above for my 2010 vision) and plan a small step in that direction. You will be surprised how powerful small steps in the direction of big dreams can be!
